Thought I’d share some of my latest favorites, what you crushin on? 

Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel

img_0607First things first … I love that is product is 100% all natural. I’m not really natural crazy when it come to products but this is a product I put on my face. And daily! Also I love that is product is fragrance free. Although it has that witch hazel scent, there is no perfumes added to alter the natural scent. I wish I could buy this in bulk (larger than 16oz) with like a little refill bottle or something. But the formula is great. I have been using this product for a little over a year, just to cleanse my face after every shower. I use cotton pads from the dollar tree to wipe my face, then I proceed to a mask or scrub.

Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Paper Mask

img_0603I have a sweet thing for sheet mask. I must say I enjoy them more than spread a masks across my face and standing over a sink to wash it off. Yeah, I’m a little lazy. But that’s why someone started marketing sheet mask. I use them at  least 2 times a week. Yes To sheet masks are always so soft. There literally made of cotton, which cause me to leave it on until it dries. Sometime! Yes To has the coolest packaging graphics. Yes To Coconut products really hydrates my skin and enhance my glow.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel with SPF 15

This has been my life line since summer. Every morning after washing my face, I moisturize with this. I did not understand how much a little SPF helps. Honey! My skin tone has been even all year… I never happens. This product is my best friend. I love the the tap is bigger enough for the tube to stand up on the counter and small enough to carry around. But it was kind expensive so I hope this bottle last me a while.

Aveeno Active Naturals Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub

I have had this product for at least a year. Theres’s no expiration date on the product so I hope thats okay. Basically I use this product the few days before and after getting a wax. Its a gentle exfoilator that feels good. Time to go buy another!

Lush Bath Bomb- Butterball

My absolutely favorite. An colleauge put me on to Lush and it changed my life. The butterball has been my favorite from the every beginning.  I nice hot soak not bubbles, just hot water and oils. Such amazing self care.

Fall is here baby!

This liquid lipstick in the color wannabe by Tarte is one of my favorites for fall. Wannabe is the perfect universal dark nude for just about every type of outfit. It’s something about breezy and cold weather with a cardigan and dark lip stick that makes me feel fancy. I love how long it liquid formula lasts. I only had to apply once for the entire work day.

When using a lip pencil, I recommend matching Mac lip pencil in the color plum.

Hello Passionista!

This week has been awesome. On Sunday, I met up with friends to spend some chill time in the park. The weather was nice, sun was shinning, and we needed some girl chat.

I love a good park picnic set up. So on short notice I gathered my blanket, cards games, snacks and wine for our little park adventure. The weather was not too hot or too cold, allowing us to enjoy the park for about five hours out in the sun. (Well under a tree really)

Since this was a outside event and I sweat so easily, I made it a fresh face SUNDAY. But you know I can’t go without lipstick.

This week I have fallen in love with the MAC Matte Lipstick in the color whirl, all over again. I purchased this lipstick last fall and with the seasons changing and getting new lipsticks it has just been siting on my lipstick rack. But look at it on me. It is time I bring this whirl color out of retirement and start rocking it again.

It’s Friday!!! We’ve almost made it through this week. It has been a long one for me and I can’t wait to relax for the weekend.

Even though it’s been a rough week, I’m always determined not to look like what I feel like. Today I’m enjoying the GA sunshine with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in the color Spice.

Purchased from ULTA on sale for buy 1 get one week during National Lipstick Day. I love this color, so I have to have it. It will definitely be a favorite in my fall makeup essentials.

Yes To Shampoo &; Conditioner | Use & Review

Hello Passionista!!!

So, I’m not the type to use the same shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair. I like to try different products and brands. So I want to share my experience with Yes To shampoo and conditioner detoxifying & deep cleaning / ultra moisturizing charcoal.

Disclaimer: My thoughts and opinions are strictly my own based from my usage experience. I have only used these products one time.

Where to buy: Target ($7.99 each)

Yes To charcoal detoxifying & deep cleaning shampoo

Yes To charcoal detoxifying & ultra- moisturizing conditioner

Pros:

  • This is really a deep cleaning shampoo, it’s great for clean hair with product build up
  • The formula is creamy. For some reason I thought the formula would be thicker than the average shampoo but it’s not.

Cons:

  • It really strips your hair of everything. A hair mask / treatment is needed after use.
  • The conditioner is hard to wash out of thick hair. The color helps determine if it’s all washed out or not

Final Thoughts: this is not a product I would use often cause I wash my hair on a weekly basis. But I feel this is a perfect product duo for when I have lots of product build up from gels and creams in my hair. I plan on keeping these products close by for those special occasions.

After washing the conditioner out, I did restore my curls with coconut oil.

Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipstick

Hello Passionista!

I love my nudes and flesh tone lipsticks, but this week I decided to do something different. I’ve been rocking this Smashbox always on liquid lipstick in the color Miss Conduct. This is actually a sample I received in a Ipsy bag months ago.

I like red lipstick. It makes me feel pretty and fierce on the inside and outside. But I normally only wear it for special occasions not a everyday thing. I wanted to do something different so I’ve been pairing my cheetah print flats (shoes) and red lip stick for this week office fashions. The color is not to bold. It’s a darker red which I like.

I’m a fan of the Smashbox brand and the color is growing on me. I believe I would purchase this color lipstick by Smashbox once I finish this sample tube. It’ll be a good color option to add to my holiday collection of lipsticks.

Normally, I like to line my lips with a lip pencil before using a lipstick. But I only have brown tone lip pencils and I don’t think it looked good with red. So what color liner should I use? Red? What’s a cheap brand to try that has a good red lip pencil?

Bobby Brown Rich Color Gloss

Hello Passionistas!!!

This week’s lipstick of the week is actually a lip gloss by Bobby Brown Cosmetics -Rich Color Gloss in the color, Pink Cocoa 12. I’ve been using this product all year.

This gloss formula is thick but not sticky. It actually last a long time if you’re not eating or drinking. Since it’s a gloss of course it’s going to transfer over to a cup or napkin when eating and drinking. But the formula is rich enough to hold its form and color when on your lips. It doesn’t smudge nor harden. The color Pink Cocoa just tickles my fancy soooo much. It’s cute and neutral to match with just about any make up look. An added benefit to the gloss is that the color is so close to my skin tone. Y’all know how much I love nude colors.

You don’t really need a liner for this gloss but, Of course, I use my Mac lip pencil in the color Plum to line my lips.

Lipstick of the Week

Hello Passionistas!!!

This week I have been rocking my Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick, in the color Veronica and Mac lip pencils, in the color Plum.

The Plum lip pencil is a go to make up essential for me. Since I love nude colors, plum goes good with just about every lip color I wear. Mac lip pencil lasts a long time. It’s well worth $18.

I don’t normally purchase Anastasia Beverly Hills products. But ULTA was running a sale back in July on the brand- buy one get on free. I thought it was a great deal on a $22 Lipstick, so I purchased the Veronica liquid lipstick along with another matte lipstick that I will feature another week. The formula spreads nicely, making it easy to apply and it lasts a long time. I often reapply after drinking anything. Best of all it’s easy to wipe off.

Hello Passionistas!!!

Self care is very important to me. I’m not a pro at it just yet. But over the years, I have realized that taking good care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally is a super important factor to living a happy life.

One thing I enjoy doing is pampering myself. As much as I love going to the spa, realistically I can’t afford a spa visit every week. But I always pamper myself with a facial mask and body scrubs. It leaves my skin feeling soft and makes me feel good. I don’t have a routine or specific products I use. I like to try different techniques and brands. That’s why I’m such a Product Junkie!!!
