Hello Passionistas !!!
Yesterday, my girls and I experienced yet another outstanding show by Beyoncé featuring Jay Z at the On The Run 2 Tour. It’s always a pleasure when 👑🐝 blesses us with her creativity and stage presence.
This show was my 1st time watching Chloe x Halle (Beyoncé’s artist) perform live. I love those girls! They are such great artists and I am a BIG fan. I even made t-shirts to wear to the concert.
Check out my wardrobe choice:
Black Tee (Men’s) purchased at Walmart
Red Biker shorts purchased at Walmart
Black and White Vans
Beauty Supply store clear fanny pack
NATURAL HAIR PROTECTIVE STYLE
I’ve had this hairstyle idea in my head for a while, but never had the opportunity to do it until the concert. It turnt out better than I thought. The black choker, hoop earrings and makeup really brought the whole look together for me.
CHLOE X HALLE SHIRTS MADE BY ME
I’m excited to share with you, my first DIY project video.
How to make Hexagon Shaped Shelves out of popsicle sticks?
I hung the shelves on the wall near the entry way of my apartment. This is also where I have my storage ottoman to store my shoes and handbags. I thought the wall decor gave this area a little more character.

It’s Christmas Day!!!!
I must admit blogmas is a struggle. I started off strong but this season had been so busy for me that I miss and day of two.
Last year my family started the tradition of making gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve.
I purchased my Hershey’s kit from CVS for $7.99
I am a master at this …. look 👀
Merrry Christmas !!!!!!
Happppppyyyyyy Saturday Night!!!!
Tonight, my family and I had a cute little snack and game night.
We played a series of minute to win it games and ate good food. The kids made ginger bread houses.
But I wanted to share the cute little dollar tree decorations I created…
I made these cute little DIY snow globes, everything purchased from the dollar tree.
I found these cute candle stick holders at dollar tree and loved them so much that I bought all that were on the shelf. They came in white but I spray painted a few of them silver for my the base to my snow globe.
Using double sided tape I taped the bottoms of a toy Christmas tree to the candle stick holder. I used a steamless wine glass as the globe- putting just a little bit of white confetti as snow.
So cute quick and easy …
You can also use a wine glass with a steam as a globe with a candle on top.
To complete my table decor, I used Garland and toy gift boxes, mason jars and candles, and candy canes.
Super easy and super cute!!!
Another day another dollar… And I’m back with another product review… for… LUSH products!!!
I just love going into LUSH, the environment is not relaxing. This wasn’t a planned trip- this was a “I was walking in the mall and walked into the store” trip.
During my trip I sampled a few products and limited myself to buy only three things
Cocoa Butter Massage Bar
Massage Bar Tin
I absolutely the massage bars at LUSH. My goal is to try them all. Honestly, they feel amazing on your skin. After a long hot bubble bath, air dry and then rub the bar along your skin. The warmth of your body melts the bar just the right amount to coat your skin. The smooth and gritty texture of the bar feels like you’re in a spa getting a massage from a trainer professional.
The tin is an added bonus. The last time I bought a bar and traveled – it melted in my suitcase. Even though I packed it in a plastic bag it made a mess everywhere. So at least with the tin it if melts I can place the tin in the freezer to turn it back solid.
Cup O’ Coffee is a new buy for me. I think this is the first time I seen the product in store. It’s a face and body scrub. I cannot wait to play with this stuff and tell you about it.
What’s your favorite LUSH product?
I thought I would start your week off with a little DIY special. I do a lot of DIY projects but I never really blog them. So I am trying to get better with blogging my DIY projects.
c If you remember my Goodwill Haul, I showed y’all some clear glass jars and candle stick holders I purchased. I used those in this DIY project. I didn’t make them for any specific, I was honestly just waiting some time. With a few holidays coming up in the next couple of months, I know I will be decorating for our family events. I can use them as centerpieces or candy jars on the deserts table. Anything really !
I only used metallic spray paint and super glue gel to make these beauties. To start, I used baby wipes to clean the jar and candle holders. If you have ever bought anything from Goodwill, you know they write the prices is some special chalk marker or something. I find it easy to wipe it away with a baby wipe.
For the jar lids I used metallic spray paint to paint them this golden-bronze look. The super glue gel is this best glue to use for projects like this. With the jars placed up side down on a flat service, I used the gel glue on the rim of the candle holder. Next, I placed the candle holder in its place and letting it dry for 2 to 3 days.
Finally you have a finished products.
These glam holders can be used in so many places around the house:
- In the Kitchen for you flour, sugar and other condiments
- On the Kitchen island as jar/ treat jars
- In the Bedroom, as decor for the dresser or night stand
- In the Bathroom for q-tips, cotton ball and make-up blenders
- For make-up brush holders
I’ll be adding these to my Kreative Passions page, so be sure to check out all my other DIY decor and ideas. For orders, email email@example.com and don’t forget to follow on IG @passionlocked.
Until next time – xoxo
