It’s Christmas Day!!!!
I must admit blogmas is a struggle. I started off strong but this season had been so busy for me that I miss and day of two.
Last year my family started the tradition of making gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve.
I purchased my Hershey’s kit from CVS for $7.99
I am a master at this …. look 👀
Merrry Christmas !!!!!!
Happppppyyyyyy Saturday Night!!!!
Tonight, my family and I had a cute little snack and game night.
We played a series of minute to win it games and ate good food. The kids made ginger bread houses.
But I wanted to share the cute little dollar tree decorations I created…
I made these cute little DIY snow globes, everything purchased from the dollar tree.
I found these cute candle stick holders at dollar tree and loved them so much that I bought all that were on the shelf. They came in white but I spray painted a few of them silver for my the base to my snow globe.
Using double sided tape I taped the bottoms of a toy Christmas tree to the candle stick holder. I used a steamless wine glass as the globe- putting just a little bit of white confetti as snow.
So cute quick and easy …
You can also use a wine glass with a steam as a globe with a candle on top.
To complete my table decor, I used Garland and toy gift boxes, mason jars and candles, and candy canes.
Super easy and super cute!!!
I know I’ve been missing for two days of blogmas. I’ve been busy with orders and shopping…🤷🏽♀️
But, I’m back now !!!!! 😍
I recently hosted a Christmas PJs Brunch with all my girlfriends. It was super nice! But of course – as the host, I did not get any pictures. What I can say is— we had a good time.
I cooked a really nice brunch. I made lots of mimiosas and we drank lots of mimiosas!
We played “dirty santa” and cards against humanity… so many laughs and memories made…
I did manage to get a few snaps with my polaroid camera for my next scrapbook..
Until next time 💝
We are like a week away from Christmas…. and everyday I get more and more excited….
Today, I am going to show you one of the personalized christmas gifts, I made for a friend with my Cricut Air 2.
I found this oversized flask at CVS in the gift section for hoilday stocking stuffers. It was $9.99, at the time I purchased it I had no clue what I would do with it. But I turnt it into the perfect gift.
I used my circut air 2 machine to to cut vinyl of a “R” and the name “Rasheena” (my friend’s name. Using transfer paper I put the “R” on first, centered or course. Then, the name “Rasheena” across.
Normally I order my vinyl in bulk from Vinyl Expressions or Amazon. But the patterned vinyl, used for the “R” is from Hobby Lobby- a 12 X 12 sheet only $1.99.
If you have a Cricut machine, please share some of you projects. If you don’t have this machine but would like some personlized gifts and nic-nats, DM me on my creative IG page (@passionlocked)
Today, I am back with another cricut project.
I honest can’t believe I never thoguht about this before…. Decorating dinner charger with vinyl to display a personal greeting, quote or image. The closer we get to christmas the more events I have to attend or decorate for. So I have been on pinteret heavy for the last couple of months, looking for ideas.
To make these dinner chargers, I used a few from my collection. But you can purchase them at Hobby Lobby for like $1.99 (rember to use your 40% off couple). Dollar Tree also sells dinner chargers but it’s hard to find them in store, so you may have to purchase online by the case. I also use the Cricut Design space and transfer vinyl – I had left over from other projects.
Cookies for Santa Dinner Charger is a great ideas for kids to use Christmas eve night to leave out cookies and milk for santa.
“Joy to the World” Dinner Charger is a great idea for table setting and dining decor
Merry Christmas to you all and your families …

I love the holiday season and spending time with my family. This is our second year taking family photos and I wanted to give yall a snapshot of the photo shoot. This day was filled with big smiles and laughs.
Family is my core. Without them I have no support, motivation, or inspiration. My years on the earth would not be the same without each of there grace and presence in my life. I wish nothing but peace, happiness, and love to my family and all of yours.
I want to send a special shout out to the photographer of the event, Mr. Trey Sims. He was so patient, creative, and fun to work with. Not only did he make me happy, but it made my family happy with these amazing family photos.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s Wishes!
First 2017 Milestone, my first blogaversary
It is my favorite time of year…. The holiday season! It’s just something about this time of year that I am in love with. The holiday cheer, the traditions, and the love in the atmosphere. With everything going on in my life, this time of year I feel most joyous.
Growing up my mother always had a real tree during theChristmas season. We would go to the Christmas tree farm the day after thanksgiving to cut down a tree and spend the weekend decorating it. It would always be a 7ft pine tree with a “big belly” my mother would call it, referencing the round fullness of its bottom. It was a lot of tree to decorate, but it was something we did together as a family. Each year my mom would buy a special ornament for me and my brothers add to the tree that was just for us, “Our little piece of the tree”. Some of them were handmade art project from school and others were collectibles from things we were interested in at the time. My favorite one was a matching Holiday Barbie ornament to the Holiday Barbie Doll Santa left me that Christmas. Actually I think it was the 2000 Holiday Barbie, with the Black and Silver dress and the pink collar. My mother still has those ornaments stored away, and every year she still brings them out to put on the tree. Sadly, we are all older now, so we haven’t added new collectible ornaments to the tree in years.
This year I decided to buy a real tree and decorate my apartment a little bit. Last year I didn’t decorate because I live alone in a small apartment that I was never at. So what was the point? But this year things are a little different. So I bought a small tabletop pine tree for $19.99 at the local Kroger store and hit up the Dollar Tree for some decorations.
I decided to decorate it with red and gold ornaments with a string of pearls and white flowers to make it unique. The Dollar Tree was the best place to shop for ornaments on a budget. I spent less than $20.00 on lights the pearls and ornaments. I also decided to continue the ornament tradition on my own this year.
If you are a PassionLocked subscriber or follow me on social media, you know I love tea. Of course the first of my collection had to be a teapot and its one of my favorite colors… GOLD! The second ornament I found is a glass slipper high heel, because no matter how old I get I will always be a princess in my head. At JoAnn’s Fabric store I found these wooden ornaments. One with my first initial, another with 2016 carved in it and the last one with JOY carved in it. I thought these would be great to cover in glitter and add to my tree. And I will save them for next year and find a few more to add to my little collection
Thank you Mommy for introducing me to such a wonderful holiday tradition. I can’t wait until the season I can share it with a husband and kids of my own. And thank you friends for stopping by my little ol’ blog. I hope you all are enjoying this season as much as I am.
And Hey! This is another thing crossed off my holiday bucket list…
