Hey Passionista!
My favorite time of year is slowly approaching. It first starts with Halloween. As a kid I wasn’t really into the whole dress up for Halloween thing. But over the last few years I have enjoyed dressing up with my friends and craving pumpkins.
I’m stuck between if I’m going to be a witch or little red riding hood for Halloween this year. While I’m still trying to figure out my costume idea, I decided to carving pumpkins and roast pumpkin seeds with my family.

Carving pumpkins with your family can be a really fun seasonal tradition. Last year I carved pumpkins with my friend. We made it into a Sip n’ Carve girl night. This year my brother and nephew joined me in pumpkin carving and seed roasting. We used a simple carving kit from Kroger to create our masterpieces.
Once we were done carving our pumpkins, I lit a small candle in each of them and sat them out on the front porch for display. Which is your favorite: The Cat or The Spider?

There’s nothing better than pumpkin bread or pumpkin seeds as the season starts to change. So I used the seeds from our craved pumpkins to roast for a snack after creating our spooky masterpieces. Here’s how I made my Cajun Spice Pumpkin seeds.
I’m still learning how to use TikTok so bare with my creativity. Before you go, what are you planning to be for Halloween?
