DIY | Bath Bomb Making Kit

Hello Passionista-

You all know by now, I love and cherish my self care remedies. One thing I enjoy doing is taking a hot bath with bath bombs and candles to relax my mind, body, and spirit. I always purchase my bath bombs from Lush but I thought I’d try making some DIY Bath Bombs.

I discovered a company called Grow and Make, that selling DIY crafting kits for every occasion. I’m going to be using a Bath Bomb Making Kit to make some Lavender Bath Bombs for my next self care hot bath session. This kit came complete with all the items needed to make Bath Bombs at home, simple and easy.

6 bath bomb molds, rubber bands, citric acid, corn starch, epsom salt, almond oil, rose petals, lavender buds, calendula petals, essential oil, colorant, and pipettes.

Only additional materials needed that were not included in the kit are a mixing bowl, measuring spoons and a whisk.

My Impression of the Kit

The kit is a great idea and I highly recommend it for first timers, like myself. Bath Bombs are not hard to make and I’m pretty sure there are many YouTube videos to show you how to make them. But this kit includes everything needed to make 12 bath bombs and molds to make more later. Not only did the kit include specific instructions it also presented some tips and tricks for different ways to put a special twist on your homemade bombs. I found the instructions easy to follow and make. I was given 2 recipes (one for Rose and Calendula and another for Lavender), I choose to make a batch of 6 Lavender bath bombs. My bath bombs turn out wonderfully. I was happy to use them to relax and unwind. The experience with using them was just as rewarding and relaxing as making them.
